Welcome Back, Knights!
What an honor to have our students back on campus! Knights, you make this place come alive. I am so excited for the 2021-2022 school year. This year is going to be ridiculously amazing! I have worked in New Caney ISD for twenty years. This is my fifth year at Infinity. I am happy to serve as your Assistant Principal/Campus Behavior Coordinator. We wear many hats at IECHS. We do whatever it takes to make sure our students have an educational experience. Each staff member on this campus is here on purpose for a specific purpose. We believe in our students. We are here to support and assist in the best way possible. Discipline is only a small part of my role because students understand that Infinity is an opportunity. It's a game changer. Knights attend IECHS to get a high school diploma and a college degree. Your choices matter. Please make the right choices that will keep you focused and committed. If you fail to adhere to the NCISD Student Code of Conduct, consequences will follow. I believe that our students will do the right thing and TCOB! My door is always open. If I am not in my office, you can also find me in the IECHS Cafe. I am the Lunch Duty Queen. I am super proud to share that our students have been doing a great job of cleaning their area during breakfast and lunch. Keep shining, Knights! SEL, Special Programs, and Instruction are some of my campus responsibilities. I am still a teacher at heart, so don’t be surprised if you look up and see me teaching a lesson in your classroom. Knights, please know that I am here to foster a positive and productive learning environment. Our admin team is small in number, but mighty in power and purpose. I have been charged with the responsibility to encourage, inspire, and motivate students to grow and flourish at IECHS. I believe each one of you will do great things. Know that you are not alone on your journey to greatness. I am honored to be your Assistant Principal.

We’ve entered uncharted territory. The waters are choppy and uncertain. They can even be quite fearful at times. Don’t give up. Stand strong. As we embark on this journey, let us remember that we are Knights for a reason. We’ve been chosen to walk this path. We are a family of overcomers and we know our current situation won’t stop us from reaching our final destination.
It’s okay to be unsure. It’s okay to be afraid. It’s okay to feel overwhelmed. Entering uncharted territory will unleash a myriad of emotions. Pause. Feel the feelings. Refuse to wallow. Don’t stay there. Use your voice to reach out and take the hand of a fellow Knight. You’re not alone. We are stronger together. The students and staff that make up IECHS are examples of strength, perseverance, grit, hope, and determination. As an IECHS Knight, you understand the power of choice. You have the ability to set the tone of your life. In spite of everything that is going on, you have the right to choose. Make the choice to be victorious. Make the choice to be joyful. Make the choice to be the difference. Somebody needs your light. Shine brightly. As long as we stay focused on the course set before us, we will complete the journey. |
