Summer is almost here, meaning we can take a break and enjoy some time off from school. If you’re anything like me, you might play Minecraft for the majority of the time. Two years ago, Minecraft released bees into the game and they have become a center of attention. Here, you can learn how to make your own out of beads!
Materials needed:
What to do: To make your Minecraft bee, you will first need to glue the beads together. Lay your brown and yellow beads down on a flat surface in a rectangle. When that is done, glue them together. Repeat this process three more times for the rest of the body. You will then take the four rectangles and glue their sides together, creating a rectangular tube shape. Now, for the back, just create a square of brown beads. Make sure it’s not too big for the body! Glue it to the back of the bee. The head is pretty simple; all you have to do is look at a Minecraft bee’s face and arrange the beads to match. You will then glue the face to the body. I bet you thought we were done there! Now we’re going to add the wings. Position your white beads into two oval shapes. Glue them together, then lay them on the back of the bee (make sure they stick out a little bit!). Glue the wings to the bee. Now you should have a Minecraft bee made of beads. If you want to hang them on your ceiling or something like that, just glue a string to the bee’s back. Enjoy your summer with your homemade bee! |
